I am a media and marketing professional with expertise in online brand building, community development, digital strategies, and the creation of digital content. As a community leader, I've been a part of the local "camp" movement to increase awareness and develop a strong community of like minded individuals to learn and share their knowledge in a number of "unconferences." PodCamp, BarCamp, SocialMediaCamp, FreelanceCamp are just a few of the camps that I've attended, helped to organize, and/or spoken at. I am credited for putting on the 2nd FreelanceCamp in the nation, 1st in the state of Texas to promote diverse revenue streams, increase exposure for freelancers, entrepreneurs, and independent business owners.

You will find me as an active international blogger for various sites related to media and technology in business. In addition, Luis co-hosts a twice-a-week podcast called Tech in Twenty, which features technology news and interviews with industry leaders making big changes in their respective industries.

I currently represent a local digital company as the Social Media Manager, where I consult with companies of various sizes, to develop strong online marketing strategies that integrate with their existing efforts. The focus is to develop key online strategies for brand visibility, awareness, and community cultivation

I've been involved in online media for over twelve years. As an original online content creator, Luis has worked to develop media that creates community, develop networks where ideas can be shared and expressed across long distances, and inspire businesses to understand how their brand can be further developed utilizing diverse media tools, new approaches to online marketing tactics, and confidence in building relevant and long lasting content.
