Enhancing Yourself with a Social Presence

Times are tough all the way around. I know first hand what it's like to be between jobs during tough times. The first happened during 9-11 the second was earlier this year as I transitioned to consultancy while seeking opportunities both locally and out-of-state. With a family, it's never easy to manage less money than you have in bills. We all hit tough times, so it's great when someone is willing to give of themselves to help others get a leg up.

That's exactly what my friend Chris Brogan is doing. If you're not following him, that's okay, because it's not about him, or who he is really, it's what he's doing that I want to share. Aside of being a media leader, great speaker, and avid comic collector, what really makes him who he is, is the love he has for people. As a professional he's decided to give of his time to help those seeking employment.

One in every 10 people in the US (on average) is out of work. Several more are "underemployed." With so many people clamoring for jobs, the traditional methods one uses to find work aren't cutting it.
